Yoseka x Ink Institute – No. 01 由 Origin Ink

No. 01 由 Origin Ink is made for us in Taiwan by our friends at Ink Institute. One of our most important goals at Yoseka has always been to highlight stationery makers from Taiwan. It began with our first project, Yoseka Notebook, made with Taiwanese stationery company Conifer and today, as part of our Origin Series, we are so happy to be able to work with Ink Institute to produce this ink. We picked this green to echo our store colors, which were chosen by Neil’s parents in 1981 when they first opened their store, and to complement our  由 Origin fountain pen. As you write with this ink, we hope you will think of Taiwan and beyond that, all there is to be discovered from the world’s independent artisans.  30 ml Dye-based Made by Ink Institute in Taiwan More Yoseka Origin Series Yoseka Origin Series:  The Origin Series is a tribute to the ideas and values that inspired us from the beginning, and those who have shaped the journey of Yoseka Stationery throughout our early years. This series is named after the first character in our store name,  the 由  (pronounced “yo”) in 由申甲. These characters were chosen by Neil’s father as he was first conceptualizing his stationery store in 1981. With Yoseka Origin series, we wish to honor the hard work and efforts that came before us, share the connection to Taiwan we hold eternally at our foundation, and celebrate our partners who made Yoseka Stationery possible.
