The Pilot Prera fountain pen is made of acrylic and comes with a transparent demonstrator barrel that allows you to see the inner workings of the pen as well as the ink you’ve filled your pen with, which comes in handy for monitoring when ink levels are low. The pen clip is sturdy and clips the pen tightly with a secure hold onto your pocket or notebook. The snap cap has a satisfying click as you are capping the pen and a vacuum seal prevents your nib from drying out between uses. The nib is firm and offers a very smooth writing experience with consistent ink flow without having to press down on the paper at all. Like most Pilot pens, the nibs are on the finer side, which make them perfect if you have smaller handwriting.
